Now, without further ado, here's everything we released in April!
In March, we released an updated iPhone app that made the experience of making and receiving calls in Follow Up Boss much better. As promised, we rolled those same changes out to our Android app in April.
Here's a quick reminder about what's changed:
We could try to use more words to describe how awesome the new calling experience is, but this video does a much better job 😃
The new version of the Android app should automatically update on your phone, or you can head over to Google Play to download it yourself. Need an in-depth walkthrough of how calling works on Follow Up Boss for Android? There's a detailed support article for that.
Okay, this isn't exactly a new feature, but after releasing Pixel in February and seeing how all of you are using it, we've been making improvements under the hood. If you haven't installed Pixel on your website yet, there's no better time than now to make this powerful tool work for you. Pixel supports virtually any website platform and integrates seamlessly with Follow Up Boss to let you:
Full details (with videos) on Pixel are in the support center, but here's what you really need to know now: You can install Pixel in just a few minutes on any major website platform. Just open up Follow Up Boss and open up a lead record or your Inbox. If you don't have Pixel installed, you'll see a green button, like this:
Click that button and you'll get easy to follow instructions for getting up and running with Pixel. And if you need help, the Support Team is here to walk you through it.
This new report helps visualize the deals that are in your pipeline. You can look at an individual, team or entire company and even drill into marketing sources to see what campaigns your deals are coming from.
Check out the full walkthrough of the report to see where to find the Pipeline View and how to use it.
There's a new tool inside of Follow Up Boss that will draw your attention to things that have changed so you know about new and improved features as soon as we release them. Here's how it works:
When something's new, you'll see a red badge in the upper right corner of the app, next to your picture. Click your picture, and in the menu that opens you'll see a new option called Product Changes.
Click on Product Changes and you'll see a cool window that tells you what's new, where to find it and how to learn more. Here's an explanation of our new Quick Email feature, for example:
Speaking of Quick Email, April saw a bunch of all-around improvements to how you send email through Follow Up Boss.
This new feature lets you...wait for it...send a 'quick email' from anywhere inside of Follow Up Boss. It seems simple, but we think it's going to make life a lot easier for many of you.
There's a new icon at the top of your Follow Up Boss screen:
Click that icon and you'll get a Gmail-style email composer right in the bottom of the window:
It's a simple thing to save you a few clicks here and there (now you don't have to open up a contact to send an email), because Follow Up Boss engineers lie awake at night thinking about ways to make you more efficient. 😃
There's been a lot of behind the scenes work to improve the batch email experience. Here's just a few highlights:
If you're a heavy batch email user, you should find a bunch of things to be just a little bit better and hopefully that all adds up the whole experience being a lot better. Contact Support with any questions or feedback--these changes came from customer feedback and we'd love to hear about how they're working for you.
That's it for April. We've got some great stuff coming in May, including a big update to how the Inbox works for teams. See you next month!
